Minnesota Spring Foraging

After several days of cold and rain, Minnesota was treated to a sunny moderate day. A perfect day for morel hunting in the woods of SE Minnesota(with camera in tow or course). It's a great time of year to spend a gorgeous day foraging for some treats from Mother Nature.

Unfortunately, I didn't find any morels, but did find some indications of future foraging opportunities. Here are a few -

Wild plum trees blooming

Wild strawberries blooming

Dandelion leaves make a great salad
